Preparing For Your Tan...

Here’s a few things we would like to orientate you to before your appointment for your comfort and convenience, whether you have had sunless tanning before or not.

An individual appointment will last approximately 30 minutes in total, this includes time to setup and pack our equipment away. 

Your technician will complete a very brief client record card at the time of your first appointment, this only takes about a minute.

We will require a spacious, well lit room to complete your application, preferably on a hard floor but not essential. 

We bring along a portable booth which we pop up to catch any stray spray and avoid any mess.

Bathe or shower, and preferably exfoliate, wax/shave the night or morning before your appointment. (Shaving & Waxing should be carried out at least 6-8hrs prior to your tanning session)

Avoid using any moisturizing products during or after your bath/shower. 

You will not be able to bathe or shower for a minimum of 6 hours (preferably 8-10hrs) to allow your tan to develop to its full potential. 

We recommend that you remove all jewellery and advise you to put a coat of varnish or barrier cream on your nails to avoid any discolouration.

Should you wish to remain slightly covered during the tanning session we recommend an old thong or pair of briefs. This will of course create white bits after your tan is applied. The only way to get no tan lines is the old birthday suit.

During your spray tan your technician will ask you to stand in certain simple positions to allow perfect coverage, this will be explained before your session commences. 

The actual application takes approximately 10-15 minutes.

We advise you to have a set of loose dark clothing or bath robe ready to put on as soon as your application has dried. You can get dressed a few minutes after your spray tan is complete, avoiding tight footwear.

Not only will you receive the very best spray tan, you will be offered all the information you need to maintain your wonderful glow! Your technician will give you an aftercare information sheet at the end of your first session as well as answering any questions you may have.
